If we were a typical, run-of-the-mill online marketing company, this is where you’d be reading clichés about the latest “social media revolution” or “a revolutionary search engine optimization product.”
Even typing that out makes us chuckle. If we’ve learned anything from history, “revolutions” are hurried, haphazard and forced in times of desperation. On the other hand, “evolution” is consistent, methodical, efficient and, as far as we can tell, has been thriving successfully for well, let’s just say a long, long time.
Web 3.0 is not an Internet revolution. What it is, however, is the evolution of online semantics, personalization and mobility, wrapped into what we like to describe as the perfect synergy of network integration.
